East Bay Community Action Program seeks food pantry volunteers in East Providence

Volunteers needed to help meet dramatic increase in need for food

Food pantry volunteers are needed at East Bay Community Action Program’s (EBCAP) 100 Bullocks Point Avenue, East Providence, RI location. Various opportunities are available, including intake greeters, client assistance, food sorters, shelf stockers, and grocery bag packers.

Volunteers are needed Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. If you are interested in helping EBCAP address hunger in our area and you have availability during any of those times, please call EBCAP’s AmeriCorps Seniors Office of Volunteer Services at 401-435-7876, ext. 1137.

East Bay Community Action Program is a private, non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation that provides a wide array of health and human services to the residents of Rhode Island’s East Bay, including the municipalities of Barrington, Bristol, East Providence, Jamestown, Little Compton, Middletown, Newport, Portsmouth, Tiverton, and Warren.
