Call Firefighters If You Know Family in Need of Thanksgiving Meal

Do you know a family that might not have a Thanksgiving dinner this year?

Contact the Barrington Firefighters Local 1774 at 401-252-9232. Ask for Firefighter David Paull.

“We have a few openings left for Thanksgiving baskets,” said Paull of the annual distribution of baskets by the firefighters. “It continues a tradition started over twenty years ago with Local 1774 donating the baskets with money raised by fire personnel.” 

All information will be kept confidential, he said. Deliveries are made over the weekend before Thanksgiving.

The baskets include all the fixings for a complete Thanksgiving meal, Paull said, such as vegetables, gravy, cranberry sauce, stuffing, fruit, potatoes, and a dessert item.
