DeWitt Part of Panel on Non-Profit Marketing

Bill DeWitt is a partner in HCC Marketing of Barrington and a town councilor.

HCC Marketing partner Bill DeWittΒ will join a panel discussion today, Nov. 13,Β on branding for non-profit organizations at the Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands Philanthropy Day 2013.Β 

The panel discussion, titled Becoming a Storyteller: Why Branding Matters, will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Hyannis Resort and Conference Center. The panelists will discuss the need for effective, consistent, impactful messaging as donors become inundated with solicitations from a crowded sea of non-profits, according to a press release.

DeWitt joined HCC Marketing in 2010. He is an advertising veteran with more than 20 years of both agency and client experience, according to the release.

DeWittΒ was a product manager at Fleet Financial Group, Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing Communications at Citizens Financial Group, and served as Senior Vice President/Director of Marketing at Bank Rhode Island. DeWitt also spent five years on the agency side with two of America’s leading advertising agencies, Arnold Worldwide and Deutsch.

DeWitt is the president of the New England Financial Marketing Association. He serves on the board of directors of the Girl Scouts of Rhode Island, and as a consultant to the Barrington Adult Youth Team (Anti-Drug Task Force). He is, perhaps, better known as a Barrington town councilor.
