Library Gets New Teen Librarian

Tanya Paglia has some interesting plans for Barrington teens.

Here are a few things you may want to know about today in and around Barrington:

  • Cloudy skies with a chance of showers later in the day and temperatures in the mid-60s. 
  • The Barrington library has a new teen librarian: Tanya Paglia. She plans to start a film and animation club, as well as book, writing, craft, and movie clubs. See what she has in mind for teens yourself by clicking here.
  • A Christian Book Award winner, the “Discover God Study Bible,” the “New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians,” and a collector’s edition of the classic “Jane Eyre” are among the books available in the Friends of the Barrington Library sorting room. Leave your name and telephone number with the Reference Department staff either in person or by calling 401-247-1920 ext 2, and a Friends member will contact you to schedule an appointment to see the books.
  • The Senior Services Advisory Board for Barrington meets at 7 pm in the Senior Center in the lower level of the library building.
  • Barrington’s Technical Review Committee meets at 7:30 pm in the library board room.
