Local Realtor Adding Bristol Location

RE/MAX River's Edge of Barrington and East Providence is taking over the former RE/MAX office in downtown Bristol.

The East Bay Chamber of Commerce’s business of the year for 2012 is continuing to open new doors.

RE/MAX River’s Edge, with offices on County Road in Barrington and Warren Avenue in East Providence, is adding a third location in downtown Bristol. The new location has been the home of RE/MAX Patriot Properties at 47 Bradford St.

“An opportunity presented itself to buy the franchise rights in a town we love,” said Michelle Cartwright, who owns the real estate firm with her husband, Todd Mosher. “We have some successful agents and some market share in Bristol already, and we’re looking to be even more involved there.”

Cartwright said River’s Edge “is in transition to the new office right now as we set up our phone and computer systems. We’re getting up to speed.”

There is very little remodeling to be done, she said, because the previous owner had opened that office only about four years ago.

There will be a grand opening of the new office in early summer, she said.

“We are all embracing this opportunity to further expand our reach into the Bristol market,” said Cartwright.

The co-owners opened  RE/MAX River’s Edge in Barrington in 2007 and their second location in East Providence in 2011. They specialize in the greater Providence, East Bay of Rhode Island, East Providence and Southeastern Massachusetts areas.

We are all excited to watch RE/MAX River’s Edge further flourish throughout Rhode Island,” said Dan Breault, executive vice president and regional director of RE/MAX of New England. “Todd and Michelle are strong leaders who will continue to successfully lead their team and provide impeccable service to all their clients.”
