Mary S. 'Aunt Mae' Lavergne, 91, 60-Year Barrington Resident
Her calling hours are today and her funeral is Saturday from Perry-McStay Funeral Home in East Providence.

Mary S. "Aunt Mae"Β Lavergne, of Mayfield Drive, Barrington, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Silver Creek Manor. She was 91.
She wasΒ the wife of the late Roland G. Lavergne.Β Born in Seekonk, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Medeiros) Ventura. She lived in Barrington for the last 60 years. Β
Lavergne worked for the Davol Rubber Company for 29 years before retiring in 1987. She was a past President of the Ladies Auxillary Primmer-Cordeiro Post, 5385 and a past President of the American Legion Post #10, Riverside.Β She was a member of the Sacred Heart Society and the St. Anthony Society at Holy Angels Church and a communicant of St. Lukeβs Church.Β
She leaves her immediate family, Michelle, Scott, Michael, Andria, Nikko and Caleb Moglia, two sisters, Florence Mather and Lillian Moglia and several nieces and nephews.Β She was the sister of the late Raymond Ventura, Elvira Harrington and Joseph Ventura, Jr.Β
Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 amΒ from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 amΒ in St. Lukeβs Church, Washington Road, Barrington. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
