Here are some things to know about today, Dec. 18, in and around Bristol and Warren:
- Morning clouds and maybe a flurry will give way to sunny skies in the afternoon with a high temperature around 32 degrees – still freezing out there.
- The adult book discussion group and the teen reading group meet together at 3 and 7 pm in the Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope St., Bristol, to discuss "Murder on the Orient Express" by Agatha Christie.
- East Bay Knitters meet from 1 to 4 pm in the quiet study room of the Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope St., Bristol.
- The George Hail Library in Warren is selling holiday cards again this year at $2.50 per card, which includes an envelope. The illustration of the library entry was drawn by Davison Bolster of Warren.
