Albert H. Vierling III, 57, Army & Navy Veteran

Albert Harry Vierling III, of Oliver Street, Bristol, passed away on October 30, 2013, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was 57.

He was the husband of Melissa Ann (Proulx) Vierling. Born in Philadelphia PA, he was the son of the late Albert Harry Vierling Jr. and Patricia Ann (Kause) Vierling; the father of Ryan Lee Vierling of Portsmouth, Brandon Lee and Corey Lee Vierling of Bristol; brother of Theresa Vierling, Kevin Vierling and Patricia Ann Watson.

He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Isabel Proulx, his sister-in- law, Gail McClenathan, and her husband Gary and his faithful companion Oreo.

Vierling was a graduate of Eastern High School in Vorhees, NJ, and then served in the Army for 3 years before enlisting in the Navy and serving for 17 years.

All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am on Wednesday, November 6, at St. Elizabeth Church, Bristol. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
