Alice R. (Marchand) Calderiso: Retiree from Former Hartman Systems
The Warren native passed away on Jan. 2, 2013.

Mrs. Alice R. (Marchand) Calderiso, age 83, of Franklin Court Assisted Living Center, Bristol died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at Grace Barker Nursing Center, Warren, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenic M. "Babe" Calderiso to whom she was married to for 59 years.
Born and raised in Warren, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Paquin) Marchand. Alice was employed for many years as a hairdresser and retired from the former Hartman Systems, formerly in Bristol. She was an avid reader and loved spending time playing scrabble especially with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her six children, Gail A. McGovern - David, of Bristol, Michael D. Calderiso - Kathie, of Inlet, SC, Alicia M. Martucci - John, of Warwick, Paula J. Martel - Bill Bowler, of Bristol, Julie T. Vargas - Stephen, of Warren and Patricia Laferriere - Roy, of Marion, MA and adored by her twelve grandchildren, David McGovern - Sarah, Nicholas McGovern, Sandra McGovern-Dugan, Domenic Calderiso - Nicola, Mickey Calderiso, Stephen Martel - Lauren, Matthew Martel - Nicole, Lauren and Nichole Vargas, Sarah, Mitchell and Olivia Laferriere, and fourteen great grandchildren, Quenton, Alex, Thomas, Tess, Patrick, Cassidy, Gaetano, Nicola, Ethan, Amelia, Benjamin, Ashlee, Caitlin and Chloe, a sister, Joan Martin of Somerset, MA and two brothers-in-law, Bill Noons and Matthew Calderiso.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Raymond Marchand, and two sisters, Theresa Cabral and Lorraine Noons. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at 10:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol.
