Rhode Island Poll Reveals State's 3 Best Family-Friendly Christmas Day Walks

More than 3,000 families were polled.

A recent poll revealed the three best family-friendly Christmas walks in Rhode Island.

"Every Christmas, families across America head outside for a touch-football game or a quick run around the block — but those traditions tend to leave out the people who actually want the fresh air most: the youngest kids, grandparents, and anyone too full from lunch to sprint down a field," according to a media release accompanying the results of the poll conducted by SportsbookReview, a "leading sports review site."

"Even tackling just a smaller portion of this iconic route feels like a winter treat," the release said of the Newport Cliff Walk.

"The early section offers the best of everything without the tougher terrain — sweeping ocean views, waves thundering against the rocks, and those grand old mansions watching from above," according to the release. "It’s an easy, steady stroll that suits all ages, giving families a taste of the drama and beauty without committing to the full walk. Perfect for a brisk reset after lunch."
