Bristol Man Indicted on Child Molestation Charge

BRISTOL, RI—A 21-year-old Bristol man has been indicted by the Statewide Grand Jury on a count of first-degree child molestation.

Brian Allen, of Catherine St., allegedly molested a young girl under the age of 14 between Jan. 1 and Feb. 1 of this year, according to Rhode Island Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin.

Allen's indictment was reported out Wednesday and he is currently being held without bail at the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston since his arrest in June by the Bristol Police Department. He will be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on Sept. 28.
