Bristol Men Face Domestic Charges
One man reportedly kicked in the door of an ex-girlfriend; the other man reportedly punched a family member in the neck and back.

Two Bristol men face domestic charges after incidents early in the morning and during the evening last Sunday, Oct. 27, in Bristol.
Baretta L. Cheek, 36, of 70 Washington St., was charged on Sunday morning by Bristol police with domestic vandalism and malicious injury to property.
Shawn D. Reynolds, 19, of 311 State St. was charged by police with domestic simple assault and battery.

Cheek allegedly kicked in the door of his reported victim at about 5:45 am. He was described by Bristol police as an ex-boyfriend.
Cheek then reportedly left the area before being observed walking on Washington Street by a patrol officer. He was arrested at about 6 am.

Reynolds allegedly punched a family member in the neck and back before leaving a State Street apartment. He, too, was picked up by police while walking away from the location of the reported altercation. He was arrested at around 7 pm.
Both men were taken to the Bristol police station and arraigned. They were given a date of Nov. 6 to face the charges in 6th District Court.
