Bristol Police Log: New Year's Disturbance, Domestic Assault Arrests
The following information was provided by the Bristol Police Department. Where an arrest is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

The Bristol Police Department reported the following recent arrests:
On Jan. 1, 2013 at about 12:20 am, officers charged John Lynch, 23, of 24 Benjamin Drive, North Providence, with one count of disorderly conduct after they responded to a report of a disturbance at Gillaryās on Thames Street.

Police arrested David Mota, 54, of 6 Verdi Lane, Bristol, on a charge of simple domestic assault on Dec. 30.
Officers charged Justin Bernier, 32, of 59 St. Elizabeth St., Bristol, with felony counts of violating a no-contact order, possession of marijuana, and domestic simple assault on Dec. 30 at about 5:30 am. Bernier had also been arrested on Dec. 16 on a domestic assault charge, which resulted in a no-contact order being imposed. Pre-trial conferences on both charges are scheduled for Jan. 18.

Officers arrested Jessica Randazzo, 26, of 17 Wilson St., Bristol, on Jan. 1 at about 11:30 pm on a warrant issued by the Bristol Police for a charge of domestic simple assault from Dec. 15. Randazzo pleaded not guilty to the charge at her arraignment on Jan. 2 in Sixth District Court, Providence. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Jan. 18.
Officers charged David E. Welch, 41, of 123 Seascape Road, Middletown, with one count of driving with a suspended license; two counts of receiving stolen goods; and one count of illegal drug possession on Dec. 27, 2012.
Nikolas S. Hanuschak, 32, of 45 Oliver St., Bristol, was arrested for non-support of a spouse or children on Dec. 30, 2012.
