• Mt. Hope High School's football team is looking to keep the momentum rolling after a 28-6 win last Saturday when it tangles with fellow Division II-A team Warwick Vets at 7 pm under the lights.
• A book-sharing group convenes at 11 am in the George Hail Library, 530 Main St., Warren; take a break from your day to talk books with other readers.
• Coffee Depot, 501 Main St., Warren, hosts an Open Mic every Friday from 7 to 10 pm for you to show off your talent.
