Warren police searched Cox’s apartment with her consent and found some of the merchandise stolen by Botelho, who admitted to the thefts, according to Warren police. Cox was not charged at that time.
Cox and Botelho share the same apartment, said Warren Police Lt. Roland Brule. Among the items found in the apartment were video games that were traced to a retail store to be resold.
