Robert W. Dallaire, Special Olympics Champion, Dies at 59

Robert W. Dallaire loved Elvis Presley and watching WWF wrestling. He died on June 19, 2013.

Mr. Robert W. Dallaire, 59, formerly of 12 Mount Avenue, Bristol, died on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Silver Creek Manor Nursing Home in Bristol, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Fall River, MA., and a lifelong resident of Bristol and Warren, he was a son of the late Amedee L. "Medee" and Anna L. (Abate) Dallaire. Bobby worked for 19 years as a Galley Worker at the Newport Naval Base in Newport for the James L. Maher Center, retiring in 2010. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. He was an avid swimmer and weigh lifter for the Special Olympics in Rhode Island, was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and loved spending time watching WWF Wrestling.

Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 10 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Vernon Street, Warren.
