Two Domestic Arrests in 8 Hours, She Was Just Resting

The Warren Police Department reported the following recent arrests and incidents:

Arrested:

• Michael Sadler, 31, of 13 Brookwood Road, on charges of domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct on Aug. 12 at about 5:30 p.m. He was released on personal recognizance with a no-contact order until an arraignment scheduled for Friday in Sixth District Court.
• Karen Marshall, 36, of 195 Market St., on charges of assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest on Aug. 12 at about 11:30 p.m. on Market Street. 
  
• Eric Serabian, 25, of 24 Buffalo Ave., on a Sixth District Court warrant issued for failure to appear at a July 16 status conference on a charge of being a fugitive from justice brought by Warren Police. At an Aug. 14 hearing, the charge was dismissed.
  
• Craig Silva, 24, of 35 State St., on a Sixth District Court warrant on Aug. 14 at about 10 a.m. after a resident of State Street called police and requested to have Silva removed from the home. The warrant had been issued for failure to appear at a payment review on a driving-with-a-suspended-license charge brought by Warren Police. Officers arrested Silva again at about 6 p.m. for violating a protective order after a woman reported that Silva had been "yelling at her from the town common," according to police reports. Following arraignment before Justice of the Peace John Rego, Silva was transported to the ACI. At an Aug. 15 hearing, Silva pleaded not guilty and was released with a no-contact order until a scheduled Aug. 30 pretrial hearing.
  
• Jennifer Warner, 43, of 82 Water St., on a warrant issued by Sixth District Court, on Aug. 18 at about 6:30 p.m. The warrant had been issued for failure to pay court costs imposed after a July 24 no-contest plea to a charge of driving with a suspended license. Warner went to court on Aug. 19 and paid the balance.

• Officers responded to Serpentine Road on Aug. 12 at about 10 a.m. to investigate a report of possible squatters in a vacant home.
• In response to a water main break at Campbell and Water Streets on Aug. 11 just before noon, officers shut down the intersection to traffic.
• On Aug. 13, local animal control officers responded to two stray cat reports, one on Norbert Street at about 8 a.m. and the other involving two cats on Federal Street just after noontime.
• Also on Aug. 13, officers located hypodermic needles at two locations — one at Cutler Street at about 12:30 p.m., and the other at Child Street at about 6:30 p.m.
• Following a call from a male witness on Market Street, officers responded to the old baseball field to check on a person under a blanket. Turns out it was a woman who was resting. She left the area under orders from the responding officer.
• On Aug. 15 at 4:35 p.m., officers responded to the Bank of America on Market Street for a car hitting a support for the roof over the ATM.
