Volunteers Needed For Warren Playground Build April 9

At least 15 adults are needed to assemble the new beach playground structure.

WARREN, RI — Volunteers are needed to build a new playground at Warren Town Beach. The town is looking for at least 15 volunteers to step up.

"Consider donating some of your time to create a new playground at the Warren Town Beach," the Parks and Recreation Department said.

The build will be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 9. Only adult volunteers are needed, no children please, the town said. The event will be held rain or shine.

Volunteers will assemble the new playground structure and spread mulch in the area. Anyone with a rake or shovel is asked to bring it to spread the mulch.
