Warren Man Faces Felony Domestic Abuse Charges

A Warren man faces three more domestic charges – third offenses on each one -- after an altercation with a female relative on Sunday, Oct. 20.

Roger M. Daly, 33, of 381 Metacom Ave., was picked up in Newport on a warrant by Warren police on Wednesday, Oct. 23, for the new charges – domestic simple assault, refusing to relinquish a telephone, and disorderly conduct.

“They are felonies now,” said Warren Police Lt. Roland Brule. “He has two prior convictions since 2005.”

Daly is being held at the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston on $25,000 surety bail until a hearing next Wednesday, Nov. 6, in District Court. He also faces a probation violation, Brule said.
