Warren Police Log: Fraudulent Checks, Hit-and-Run, DUI, Court Warrant

The Warren Police Department reported the following arrests:
Karen King, 40, of 36 Congregational St., Bristol, surrendered at police headquarters on Dec. 11 in response to a misdemeanor charge of passing fraudulent checks.

On Dec. 11 at about 12 pm, a caller reported that a blue sedan had run off the road at Market Street and hit a pedestrial before leaving the scene. Officers could not locate the vehicle or the pedestrian.
Officers reported the Dec. 15 arrest of Jennifer L. Barney, 27, of 25 Rosanna Ave., Rumford, on an active court warrant for failure to appear at a Dec. 13 restitution review. Barney pleaded no contest to felony charges of driving a car without the permission of its owner and driving with a suspended license brought by East Providence Police in December, 2010.

On Dec. 16 at about 3 am, officers arrested Beth M. Brunelle, 49, of 90 Tiffany St., Attleboro, MA, on a charge of DUI, first offense, with BAC of .15 or higher. Brunelle is due in Sixth District Court today for arraignment.
Officers charged Jared Ose, 39, of 149 Benefit St., Providence, with one count of driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop on Main Street and Hanley Farm Road on Dec. 16 at about 6:15 pm.
