Warren Police Log: Warrant Arrests, DUI, Assault Charges

Warren Police reported the following recent arrests:

• Emanuel Rodrigues, 49, of 46 Homestead Ave., on a warrant for a charge of simple assault. Warren Police officers turned him over to East Providence Police at about 12:30 pm on Jan. 3. He is scheduled for formal arraignment in Sixth District Court on Jan. 15.
• Brendan Malone, 26, of 1408 Wilbur Ave., Swansea, MA, on a charge of eluding police on Jan. 4 at 12:46 am. He is scheduled for formal arraignment today in Sixth District Court.
• John Mulligan, 62, of 58 Coomer Ave., on a warrant for falsely reporting a crime. Officers turned him over to East Providence Police on Jan. 4 at about 2:30 am. He is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing in Sixth District Court on Jan 16.
• Thomas Bourquin, 55, of 3076 Hunters Hill Road, Dighton, MA, on charges of DUI and refusing a chemical test on Jan. 4 at about 5 pm. He is scheduled for formal arraignment today in Sixth District Court.
• Eric Cordeiro, 25, of 515 Metacom Ave., Bristol, on a charge of driving with a suspended license on Jan. 6 at about 9 pm following a motor vehicle stop on Metacom Avenue.
• Cynthia Kindell, 59, of 272 Child St., on a warrant issued for charges of making crank or obscene phone calls on Jan. 7 at abotu 10:45 am. She pleaded not guilty at arraignment that day in Sixth District Court. Kindell is also awaiting trial for a charge of simple assault brought by Warren Police; she is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on Jan. 18.
• Lizbeth Fasca, 27, of 78 Arlington Ave., on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct on Jan. 7 at about 1 pm.
• Leonard Paiva, 63, of 71 Birchswamp Road, on charges of DUI, resisting arrest, and refusal of a chemical test on Jan. 7 at about 5 pm.
• Jon Souza, 52, of 15 Kathleen Drive, on a charge of driving with a suspended licence following a traffic stop on Kathleen Drive on Jan. 8 at about 7:30 am.
• Irwin Jaiobowitz, 65, of 157 Sowams Road, Barrington, on a charge of vandalism on Jan. 10 at about 8:30 am. He is also awaiting trial on a misdemeanor charge of larceny brought by Warren Police on Jan. 4; he is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing in Sixth District Court on Jan. 18.
• Jeffrey Dantas, 45, of 360 Woodland Ave., Seekonk, MA, on a warrant issued for a second failure to appear in court on a charge of driving with a suspended license brought by Bristol Police. He is scheduled for arraignment on Jan. 16 in Sixth District Court.
