Local Editor Joe Hutnak speaks about his move to Bristol-Warren Patch and his goals with the site.

Hello, Bristol and Warren!
I'm Joe Hutnak, the new Local Editor of Bristol-Warren Patch, and I'm so excited to have the chance to work on this great site.

You may have already seen my byline on a few articles of statewide importanceĀ ā like this video on getting a state Voter ID card and this recent report on the new 'virtual tour' of the state's recycing facility in Johnston.
With my move to Bristol and Warren, I'll still get the kinds of stories that Rhode Island readers, in general, will care about ā particularly the development of a veteran's home following this year's passage of statewide Question 4 and the controversy over tolls on the Sakonnet River Bridge ā while also focusing on the events and news around these parts.

I'll be honest: I need your help to learn more about Bristol and Warren ā I hope you'll contact me via email at joseph.hutnak@patch.com or by phone at (401) 369-1659.
And remember, as much as I'm managing Bristol-Warren Patch, it's also your forum for lively discussion, sharing photos and video of your experiences in town, and posting important community events that you'd like to share with your neighbors.
I look forward to covering ā and discovering ā these two great communities.
Thanks for reading!
