What's Open, Closed on Veterans Day?
Bristol and Warren government offices, schools are closed today, but many businesses remain open.
Today, Nov. 11, is Veterans Day -- a federal holiday held to honor those veterans who served and sacrificed for their country.
The holiday means that all federal, state and Bristol and Warren government offices will be closed.
Many businesses remain open today, though, including retail stores, supermarkets and restaurants, and some banks. Call ahead to check for their hours.

The Bristol and Warren public schools, the senior centers and the public works facilities are closed as well.
The post office will be closed and there will be no mail delivery.
