Coventry Crews Battle House Fire, Brush Fires on Saturday
Coventry firefighters responded to a house fire, a grill that caught fire and two brush fires in short time period Saturday.
COVENTRY, RI—Coventry firefighters were stretched thin on Saturday after a two-alarm fire on Glacier Way, a gas grill caught fire on Kylie Way and a pair of brush fires burned at Hunters Crossing, all in a short time span.
There were no initial reports of an injuries at any of the fires.
Coventry firefighters received mutual and from a number of surrounding fire departments who provides station coverage and aid across town.
