Rhode Island State Troopers Nab MA Sex Assaulter After High Speed Chase: Cops
The Fall River resident was apprehended in Warwick, police said.
WARWICK, RI — A Massachusetts man wanted on a sexual assault charge was captured after a high speed chase, police said.
Clifford Ledrow, 42, was arrested shortly after midnight Saturday on charges of eluding law enforcement in a high-speed, reckless driving and other offenses against public safety, and obstructing an officer in execution of duty, vandalism, duty to stop for an accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Ledrow, a resident of Fall River, was also arrested on a warrant from the Providence Police Department charging him with first-degree sexual assault and felony assault, the release said.

Police attempted to pull Ledrow over on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick, then chased and caught him in an undisclosed location in that town, according to the release.
Ledrow was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and turned over to the Providence Police Department, the release said.
