Coventry police charges heard in Kent County District Court on Sept. 7.

The following Coventry police charges were heard in Kent County District Court on Sept. 7.

Peter J. Ayotte, 51, of 11 Clover Drive, Coventry, pleaded no contest to two counts of simple assault. He was sentenced to one year, suspended, and ordered to obtain counseling. A disorderly conduct charge was dismissed.

Nathan E. Brown, 27, of 131 Washington St., West Warwick, pleaded no contest to domestic assault. He was sentenced to one year at the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston, 30 days to serve, 11 months suspended with probation. He was also ordered to obtain counseling and a no-contact order was filed.

John J. Edwards, 39, of 21 Harrington Road, Coventry, pleaded no contest to simple assault. The charge was dismissed upon his completion of community service.

Irma J. Wilson, 56, of 20 Woodland Ave., Coventry, pleaded no contest to larceny. The charge was dismissed upon completion of community service.

Kyle A. Arnold, 21, of 17 Beechwood St., Coventry, pleaded innocent to disorderly conduct and simple assault. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until Sept. 20.

Matthew R. Arpin, 23, of 35 Fairview Ave., West Warwick, pleaded innocent t domestic assault. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until Sept. 23. A no-contact order was filed.

Eduardo Garcia, 27, of 37 Elton St., Coventry, entered no plea to a felony charge of cruelty to animals. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance until Oct. 27. He was also ordered to have no contact with animals.

Jason W. Longo, 36, of 128 Colvintown Road, Coventry, pleaded innocent to driving under the influence. He was released on $2,000 surety bail until Sept. 20.

Matthew L. Marion, 19, of 272 Lippitt Ave., Cumberland, pleaded innocent to disorderly conduct, malicious damage and leaving the scene of an accident. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until a pretrial conference on Sept. 21.

Eric J. Mathias, 19, of 434 Nausauket Road, Warwick, entered no plea to felony charges of domestic strangulation, domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct. He was released on $10,000 personal recognizance until an attorney general screening conference on Oct. 24. A no-contact order was issued.

Mitchell R. Parenteau, 22, of 9 Paige Drive, Coventry, entered no plea to charges of breaking and entering, assault with a dangerous weapon, malicious damage, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and simple assault. He was released on $10,000 surety bail until an Oct. 27 screening conference.

Alex Patterson, 20, of 138 Sandringham Ave., Providence, entered no plea to felony charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and motor vehicle parts and eluding a police officer. He was released on $10,000 personal recognizance until an Oct. 24 screening conference.

Edward R. Pimental, 27, of 6 South St., West Warwick, pleaded innocent to a Family Court order violation. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until Sept. 21 and a no-contact order was filed.

Edward J. Poirier, 35, of 31 Black Walnut Drive, Coventry, pleaded innocent to driving under the influence. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until Sept. 21.

Dennis J. Pucino, 35, of 368 Hopkins Hill Road, Coventry, pleaded innocent to disorderly conduct and simple assault. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until Sept. 21.

John P. Turner, 27, of 660 Knotty Oak Road, Coventry, pleaded innocent to simple assault. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance until Sept. 14.

McKenzie Warren, 21, of 4 Marjorie St., Coventry, pleaded innocent to domestic disorderly conduct and domestic assault. She was released on $2,000 personal recognizance until Sept. 28. A no-contact order was filed.
