Where/When: Greene Public Library; Fridays 10-10:30 a.m.

Why Go: The Greene Public Library hosts a Friday morning program each week beginning for 1 to 3-year-olds accompanied by a parent or caregiver. The activity features songs, movement and a story. Please call the library at 397-3873 to register.

2.) WCFD 12th Annual "Burning of the Greene"
Where/When: Western Coventry Fire District (1110 Victory Hwy., Greene); Saturday, 5:30 p.m.
Why Go: Friends, family and neighbors are invited to enjoy good food, good music and great company while WCFD members "light up the night" by burning a large brush pile consisting of discarded Christmas trees from Coventry homes. Click here for complete details.

3.) Lacrosse Comedy Night/Dinner Show
Where/When: Nino's on Lake Tiogue; Saturday, 6 p.m.
Why Go: The Coventry High School Lacrosse team is hosting its 2nd Annual Comedy Night, Dinner Show and Sports Auction Fundraiser featuring Frank O'Donnell's Comedy Caravan. An Italian dinner of chicken parmesean, pasta, salad, bread, soda/coffee/tea and ice cream will be served. Purchase tickets online at www.covlax.org. See attached flyer for more details.
Pricing: $35/single ticket, $65/couple, $240/table of 8
4.) Free Rhode Island Museum Access
Where/When: Providence Children’s Museum, The RISD Museum and Newport Art Museum; Saturday and Sunday during business hours.
Why Go: Bank of America/Merrill Lynch credit or debit card holders can present their card and a photo ID at the museums for one free general admission this weekend.
Pricing: Must be a cardholder.
5.) Line Dancing
Where/When: Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge; Sunday, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Why Go: Want to try something a little different this weekend? Then try your hand (or feet) at line dancing. All ages and abilities are welcome. For more info call Jerry (397-3700) or Lori (206-3618).
Pricing: $6 per person to benefit Elks and Emblems charities.
