This Weekend: December Breakfast, Line Dancing and More

Here are just a handful of ideas to kickstart your weekend planning.

Breakfast in December: From 7:30 to 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, the Coventry Senior Center, located at 50 Wood Street, will host a December Breakfast. For $3, guests can enjoy eggs, choice of bacon or sausage, French toast of English muffin, with juice, coffee and tea. All are welcome!

Weekend Fun at CPL: On Saturday mornings, the Coventry Public Library hosts Drop-In Crafts to Make & Take where children of all ages can create a fun craft project to take him. Also offered on Saturday mornings is Drop-In Games, during which kids of any change can play board games with friends. No registration required.

Fellowship Dinner: At 5 p.m. this Saturday and the last Saturday of each month, Cornerstone of Faith United Methodist Church, located at 1081 Main St., Coventry, will hold a Free Fellowship Dinner. Call 821-1931 for more information.

Bingo at Knotty Oak: Every Saturday at 6 p.m. (doors open at 4 p.m.), Knotty Oak Village will host weekly Bingo in the Community Hall, located at 14 Manchester Circle.

Beginner Line Dancing: From 6-8 p.m. every Sunday night through June 8, the Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge, located at 42 Nooseneck Hill Road in West Greenwich, will hold Beginner Line Dancing Classes. Cost is $6 per person. All ages are welcome. Call Lori at 821-4361 or the Lodge at 397-3700 for more information. Proceeds benefit Elks charities.
