This Weekend: Holiday Bazaars, Beginner Line Dancing and More
Here are just a handful of ideas to kickstart your weekend planning.
All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast: This Saturday morning from 7:30-10:30 a.m., the Manchester Lodge #12 (585 Washington St., Coventry) will hold an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children under 8 years old.
Holiday Bazaar: From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, Coventry Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (10 Woodland Dr.) will host its Annual Holiday Bazaar. Join the Center community for a day of raffles, food, baked goods, crafts, game table and more.
"Olde Fashioned" Bazaar: From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, the Cornerstone of Faith United Methodist Church (1081 Main St.) will host its "Olde Fashioned Bazaar". The bazaar will feature handmade items, seasonal gifts, a book table, baked goods, pet products and more. Lunch offering homemade soups, sandwiches and pies will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Rice City Harvest Supper: Offering seatings at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m., Rice City Church (63 Vaughn Hollow Rd., Greene) will hold a Harvest Supper this Saturday, Nov. 9. Menu includes corned beef, cabbage, carrots, pickled beets, potatoes, baked beans, brown bread and assorted pies. Cost is $10 per adult, $5 per adult (ages 5-12), children under 5 are guests of the Church. For reservations, call Phyllis at 397-5743 or Sonja at 397-4455 and leave a message.
Weekend Fun at CPL: On Saturday mornings, the Coventry Public Library hosts Drop-In Crafts to Make & Take where children of all ages can create a fun craft project to take him. Also offered on Saturday mornings is Drop-In Games, during which kids of any change can play board games with friends. No registration required.

Beginner Line Dancing: From 6-8 p.m. every Sunday night through June 8, the Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge, located at 42 Nooseneck Hill Road in West Greenwich, will hold Beginner Line Dancing Classes. Cost is $6 per person. All ages are welcome. Call Lori at 821-4361 or the Lodge at 397-3700 for more information. Proceeds benefit Elks charities.
