This Weekend: Veterans' Luncheon, Holiday Bazaars and More
Here are just a handful of ideas to kickstart your weekend planning.
Westwood Estates Bazaar: From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, the Westwood Estates Homeowners Association will be holding its Annual Holiday Bazaar, Craft & Bake Sale in the Clubhouse located at 1A Liena Rose Way in Coventry.
Riverview Holiday Bazaar: From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Riverview Healthcare at 546 Main Street in Coventry will hold its Holiday Bazaar. The annual event will feature raffles, baked goods, a White Elephant Table, crafts, gifts and food.
Weekend Fun at CPL: On Saturday mornings, the Coventry Public Library hosts Drop-In Crafts to Make & Take where children of all ages can create a fun craft project to take him. Also offered on Saturday mornings is Drop-In Games, during which kids of any change can play board games with friends. No registration required.

"Salute to Our Veterans" Luncheon: On Saturday, Nov. 16, the Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge, located at 42 Nooseneck Hill Road in West Greenwich, will host a "Salute to Our Veterans" Luncheon, beginning with a cocktail hour at 1 p.m. and braised beef lunch at 2 p.m. Brig. General Charles Petrarca will be the Keynote Speaker and music will be provided by the 88th Army Band Jazz Combo. Veterans are invited as guests of the Lodge. Tickets are limited, reserve your seats by calling Phil at 828-2763 or Frank at 828-8438.
Saints John & Paul Snowflake Bazaar: From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 16-17), Saints John & Paul Church, located at 341 South Main Street, Coventry, will host its 56th Annual Snowflake Bazaar. The popular holiday bazaar will feature handcrafted gifts, homemade baked goods, food, games, raffles and lots of shopping.

Beginner Line Dancing: From 6-8 p.m. every Sunday night through June 8, the Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge, located at 42 Nooseneck Hill Road in West Greenwich, will hold Beginner Line Dancing Classes. Cost is $6 per person. All ages are welcome. Call Lori at 821-4361 or the Lodge at 397-3700 for more information. Proceeds benefit Elks charities.
