RI Towns Report Card: Is Living in a Patch Town Really Better? The Survey Says ....

Just for fun, we decided to add up the scores for the Rhode Island cities and towns without a Patch and compare the results to Patch towns. The score averages out to 86 for the non-Patch towns versus 89 for Patch communities. So, it is better in Patch country.

The fudge factor is Providence, which just started as a blog. It was included as a Patch community. Also, Jamestown is not an official Patch town, although we often include it in Newport County stories. All 100 points for Jamestown's A+ rating went into the non-Patch side of the ledger.
