Sean Todd has brought a focus on efficiency and consolidation in his service since he was elected to the Council. He is spearheading the consolidation of the Town and school websites and the creation of an ‘EG App’ for mobile phones to modernize communications between town government and residents. Sean is married, with a son entering kindergarten this fall, and a newborn baby.
Newcomers include Sean Barron, a graduate of East Greenwich High School. He is head of Barron Marketing, an outgrowth of Off Track Bedding, a family business for which he worked prior to its sale. Sean has been active in East Greenwich Little League, supporting his school age children.
Andrew Deutsch, another EGHS graduate, has a political pedigree in East Greenwich. His father, Stephen R. Deutsch served East Greenwich in a number of elected offices, including State Senator and Town Council. Andrew moved back to East Greenwich so his daughter would benefit from the advantages the town offers its children. Following in his father’s footsteps, Andrew, a business services representative for Cox Communications, is active in the town as a board member on the East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce.
Nino Granatiero is running for Town Council after showing a deep commitment to the town as a member of the Planning Board and as a member of the Summer’s End board and the board of the East Greenwich Education Foundation. His business experience includes over 26 years as an executive with major corporations, including extensive international experience. He is now co-owner, with his wife Jessica, of two Rhode Island businesses - The Savory Grape, an East Greenwich wine store, and Bristol Yacht Interiors in Warren.
The East Greenwich Republican team for Town Council believes East Greenwich is a great place to live and raise a family. The town has terrific schools, fields and playgrounds for the our children. A vibrant Main Street attracting people from around the state to take a walk and grab a bite to eat. East Greenwich well-managed Town Hall providing good services while maintaining a top credit rating. The Summer’s End Concert and parades providing a slice of Americana. And East Greenwich does not have the scandal and drama plaguing some municipalities.
Speaking for the slate, Sue Cienki and Sean Todd said, “We are experienced and passionate candidates on the Republican Team who are committed to keeping East Greenwich a great place to live. We will make sure your hard-earned tax dollars are spent wisely, and we will promote a great family environment.”
