Five Things: Eat, Tweet & Vote

Your guide for life in East Greenwich today, Nov. 6.

EG Election Guide: Not sure who to vote for? Not sure who’s even running? We’ve got you covered, with all the candidates who will be on the EG ballot on Tuesday, links to stories about the candidates, and information about where you vote. We’ve got everything you need … except who to vote for. That’s up to you! Follow the news all day long here.

Failed to register but want to vote for prez? Turns out you can! That’s right – go to Swift Community Center (only!). Bring some sort of identification that you actually live in East Greenwich and you will be able to cast a ballot for president (and veep). That’s the only office you can vote for, but it’s better than nothing!

Rotary Election Day Breakfast: Start your day with breakfast put on by East Greenwich Rotary at St. Luke's. They'll be there from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. and it's all you can eat for only $6. There's no school, so bring the kids!

Twitter anyone? Twitter isn’t nearly as popular as Facebook, but it’s really fun and quick. You can sign up and follow @egpatch and get breaking news and links to our stories and others that are of interest to our readers. And don’t worry, you don’t have to “tweet” yourself if you don’t want to. Just follow along and see what the whole world is using.

Facebook ‘likes’: My thanks to all who have “liked” us on Facebook already. If you haven’t done so yet, click here to like us on Facebook so you will get all the latest election news.
