House of the Week: 1354 South Road
Providence Journal "Homes" section features the home, which is on the market for $2.5 million.

Back in the day, there were lots of farms on the west side of East Greenwich, including the Reynolds dairy farm. While much former farmland has given over to housing developments, part of the Reynolds farmland – 20 acres – has been protected from development because those rights were deeded to EG's Municipal Land Trust.Â
Now the property – including a single family home and a large barn – is for sale for $2.5 million. It was featured on the cover of the Providence Journal's Saturday "Homes" real estate section.Â
Owner Michael Durand bought the property in 2003. He remodeled the 7,000 sq. ft. barn and built a 5,000 sq. ft. house.Â
