"Bus stops are placed at centralized locations that can be safely accessed by a significant number of students to minimize the time, length, and mileage of the run. In order to ensure that riding times for each run are minimized, some stops were combined and/or eliminated," according to the FAQ.

The district has reviewed all bus stops with police and the safety team at Ocean State Transit, which operates buses for East Greenwich, and have been deemed safe.
