Obituary: Frederick T. Worrell, Jr., 89
Mr. Worrell was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran and a Purple Heart recipient.

Frederick T. Worrell, Jr., 89, passed away Nov. 2, 2012. He was the husband of the late Marion E. Clough (Cormack) Worrell. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frederick T. Worrell, Sr., and Jessie (Read) Worrell.
Mr. Worrell was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. He received his BS from URI and a Masters of Education from the University of Mississippi. He was a devoted teacher in the Warwick school system for more than 30 years, treasurer of the Church of Christ, Scientist, in North Kingstown, and a member of the East Greenwich Lions Club.
He was the father of Frederick T. Worrell III and his wife, Cynthia; Scott Worrell and his wife, Judy; Suzanne Worrell-Gemma; and the late Lynn Waller; grandfather to four grandsons.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. at Hill Funeral Home at 822 Main Street in East Greenwich, with visitation prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. To read the full obituary, visit the Hill Funeral Home website.
