The town has been making efforts to increase road repair funding as much of the town's infrastructure ages.
East Greenwich voters approved a $2 million road paving bond in 2014, though town officials indicated beforehand that it was only a portion of the total amount of money to fix up all of the town's roads.
Public Works Director Joe Duarte told the Town Council in December that about $500,000 of the bond was left. He also said that capital funds from previous years were earmarked for road fixes this summer, including Somerset Street and the Hill and Harbor area.
The town's official list of roads on the road paving schedule for the summer in fall include Somerset Street, Spring Street, Middle Road, Midlands Drive and Signal Ridge Way.
