Carmela (Imondi) Pate, 105: Retired Jewelry Carder

Carmela (Imondi) Pate 105, of Sweetbriar Avenue, East Providence, died Monday October 21, 2013 at Orchard View Manor, according to Perry McStay Funeral Home.

She was the wife of the late Anthony Pate Sr. Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Giuseppa (Grassi) Imondi.

Pate was a jewelry carder for Wein Groff Company before retiring. She leaves one son, Anthony Pate Jr. and one granddaughter Ronna Pate. Her funeral and visitation will be held on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home, with a service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
