Commuters Rail: E.P. on the Best and Worst of Making it to Work

East Providence Patch Editors (sometimes there are more than one) were curious: What are locals worst complaints about their daily travel to work?

We asked readers on our Facebook page (Please like us there, if you haven't already) how long their commutes were, and what the worst part of their daily travels to and from the daily grind were. Here are their answers:

Keith Gonsalves bucked the trend and our assumptions. "The new 195 is a joy to travel and the views of the city and the water are good advertisement for the state, and traffic moves better now, he said, waxing romantic about his daily travels.

Stephanie Santos Sivalingam invoked a little irony. "I live in Riverside so I get to experience the joy of Bay View traffic every morning," she said. (The smiling emoticon gave it away).

Kimberly Irons Clarke played it straight. "Sumitt Street is the worst. Between the bus stop and all the traffic trying to get to 195. That street is a nightmare in the am. 5 mph," she said.

What are your thoughts? Have a look at our recent article about commuting in the area, including a map of the worst ways to work, and tell us in the comments.
