East Providence Public Library: Living Literature Presents Becoming Muhammad Ali – Aug. 17 @ 2pm On The Weaver Lawn

Living Literature, now celebrating its 25th year, presents a 30 minute, readers theatre version of Becoming Muhammad Ali by James Patterson and Kwame Alexander, the Kids Reading Across Rhode Island’s 2021 book selection. This presentation is performed by Marlon Carey and Phoenix Williams.

The Living Literature performance will be followed by some discussion, origami butterflies and bookmark crafts, and the reading of some of Muhammad Ali’s favorite poems.

This program is free and open to the public, and a free copy of the book will be given to the first fifteen people who register.
