Elsie Montaquila, 91: Mom, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother

Elsie Montaquila, 91, of Goldsmith Ave., died October 30, 2013 at the Miriam Hospital, according to Rebello Funeral Home. 

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Amelia (Silva) Rebello.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Maria Montaquila, her two grandchildren, Lonnie and Eric Montaquila, three step grandchildren, Sean and Stephen Kiley and Amy Gemma and four great-step grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Theresa Dumican, Louise M. Rezendes and Lydia Michael.

Her funeral will begin on Monday at 10 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse St., Providence. Burial will be in Santa Maria Del Campo Cemetery in Barrington. Calling hours will be on Sunday 5-8 p.m.
