Football Schedule 2021: See Who East Providence High School Faces

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — High school football's return is back to normal this fall in Rhode Island. Following a season that was postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and moved to the spring of 2021, the East Providence Townies are back on the gridiron this fall.

The Townies' regular season begins Friday, when the team hosts Barrington High School. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. See the full East football schedule below:

• Week 1: 6:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 10, vs. Barrington
• Week 2: 6:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 24 vs. Shea High School
• Week 3: 7 p.m., Friday, Oct., 1 at North Kingstown
• Week 4: 6:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 8, vs Burrillville
• Week 5: 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 15, at Cumberland
• Week 6: 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 23, at Cranston East
• Week 7: 6:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29, vs. Cranston West
• Thanksgiving game: 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 25, at La Salle Academy
