LEGOS, Laptops at Libraries; Plenty of Sports Action

Here are a few things you may want to know about today, Oct. 1, in East Providence: 

• Mainly sunny with temperatures getting up into mid 70s.
• Kids in grades K-5 who love LEGOS are invited to build alongside other kids who love LEGOS from 3:45 to 4:45 pm at the Weaver Library, 41 Grove Ave. 
• The Riverside Branch Library, 475 Bullocks Point Ave., hosts a Laptop Hour for teens from 3 to 4 pm. 
• The East Providence High School boys’ soccer team travels to Woonsocket and the River’s Edge Recreation Complex for a 4 pm match with the Villa Novans.
• The East Providence High girls’ soccer team trades kicks with Tiverton High School at home at Pierce Field at 7 pm.
• The East Providence High girls’ tennis team travels to Classical High School in Providence for a 3:30 pm match.
