Raquel M. Raposo, 59, Tockwotton Dietary Aide
Her calling hours are today and her funeral is Tuesday from Rebello Funeral Home in East Providence.
Raquel M. Raposo, of Parsons Ave., East Providence, died September 27, 2013, at the Miriam Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 59.
She was the wife of John M. Raposo. They were married for 33 years. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria dos Anjos (Furtado) Costa.
She worked as a dietary aide for the Tockwotton Home for 29 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Pamela and Joe Vieira, Stephanie and Kenny Duarte and 1 granddaughter Hailey Vieira. She was the sister of Duartina Sousa, Isaura Medeiros and Dolores Couto all of Providence, Olinda Ferreira, Lucy Couto, Maria Silva and Chris Costa all of East Providence and Silvestre Costa of Seekonk.
Her funeral will begin on Tuesday at 9 am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse St., Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
