β’ Meeting to seek Great Creek input (jamestownpress.com) β Jamestown officials are planning a public workshop so residents can weigh in on what kind of bridge should replace the aging Great Creek culvert, a project that could top $100 million. With several Rhode Island DOT options on the tableβfrom abandoning the road to building a higher, βbombβproofβ spanβcouncilors want the community to help shape what may be Jamestownβs biggest infrastructure investment in a generation.

β’ Town inks leases with TPG, ferryboat (jamestownpress.com) β Jamestown officials have approved one-year leases that reshape how the East Ferry waterfront will operate in 2026, including restoring the woodpile pier to full public access. The town is still negotiating who will fund needed repairs to the steel-pile pier, while Conanicut Marine gets a seasonal ticket booth at the municipal docks. Longer-term waterfront decisions are due by mid-May.
