Can You Find Waldo on Aquidneck Island?
Island Books is holding the annual summer search for the famous character.
A perennial favorite for kids on Aquidneck Island, the annual "Where's Waldo?" contest has begun with 25 locations in Newport, Middletown, and Portsmouth.
Island Books is again sponsoring the summer search, and is offering stickers and coupons for intrepid players who collect 10 signatures from local businesses, plus a chance to win a six-book collection for explorers who gather 20 signatures.
The last day of the search is July 31, with passports due on Aug. 1 and a prize drawing on Aug. 2. Participants need not be present to win.
