Middletown Gun Thief Nabbed: Cops
The Middletown man was wanted on a larceny of a firearm charge, police said.
MIDDLETOWN, RI — A Middletown man wanted for stealing a gun was apprehended last week, police said.
The Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Middletown Police Department teamed to take down Briggs Callahan, 20, the state police said in a media release.
Briggs was arrested Nov. 25 on a charge of larceny of a firearm, according to the release.

Mr. Callahan was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Middletown Police Department on scene," the release said.
