At Field Day, you'll witness the incredible power of amateur radio as it operates reliably under extreme conditions, creating an independent communications network. No internet or cell phone infrastructure needed! Within minutes you can set up your own station practically anywhere.
Almost anyone, regardless of age, can become a FCC licensed amateur radio operator. In fact, there are over 725,000 licensed hams in the United States, ranging from 7-year-olds to incredible centenarians!
