DUI And Arrest Following Car Fire
The arrests were reported by the Middletown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Police arrested made the following DUI arrests this week:
Second Offense DUI
Joseph Marques, 46, of 188 Greene Lane, Middletown was arrested on Monday,
Aug. 19 around 9:07 p.m. on a second offense driving under the influence
charge. He was also cited with refusal to submit to a chemical test,
driving with a suspended license, operating an unregistered vehicle,
operating a vehicle without evidence of insurance, not having a license
on him and for contents of registration plate.
Police said
Marques was on Forest Avenue struggling to pick up his motorcycle which
had tipped over. Police said he appeared very drunk and said he had
“too many” drinks.
Middletown Woman Arrested in Portsmouth After Car Caught Fire
A Middletown woman was arrested after her vehicle reportedly caught on fire on West Main Road, just north of the Lehigh Overlook Monday, Aug. 19, around 1 a.m. Brittany K. Booher, 21, of 18 Algonquin Drive, Middletown, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, first offense, according to The Portsmouth Times.
