Curbside Pick Up of Bulk Waste Items is available again

As of June 1, curbside pick up of bulk waste items is again available to Pay As You Throw (PAYT) customers. Customers buy a sticker from the town’s Refuse & Recycling program, then schedule a time for Republic Services to pick up the item at their home. Bulk waste is collected the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month.

The cost of the stickers varies, depending on the item you want picked up curbside (most items are $20 or $25.) Bulky Waste Price List may be found at https://refuse-collection.middletownri.com/bulk-waste-information/.

Because the Department of Public Works building is now closed to the public, inquiries should be emailed to wcronin@middletownri.com or call (401) 842-6519 to leave a voice message. You may also mail a check for the appropriate amount to “Refuse and Recycling, Middletown DPW, 9 Berkeley Avenue, Middletown, RI 02842” and the bulk waste sticker(s) will be mailed to you.
